Central Chiapas, Highlands, and The Lacandon forest

This tour begins in the city of Tuxtla Gutierrez, the capital of the state, and where is located a top hotspot named Sumidero Canyon. We will also visit San Cristobal de las Casas situated in the central highlands, where there is also Lagos de Montebello, and the beautiful overlooks to its many lakes. The tour continues at lower elevations visiting many ecolodges and Mayan ruins in the core of the Montes Azules Biosphere Preserve. The archeological sites that will be visited are Yaxchilan, Bonampak, and Palenque, as well as some mayan-lacandon villages like Lacanja and Naha.
